On March 26-28, at the Aquabella hotel in Aix-en-Provence, an annual meeting of the ACES H2020 project occurred. The event, organized by the French partner IRSN, was overseen by WP3 leader Christophe Marquie and project leader Miguel Ferreira from VTT.

The Advisory Board met on the morning of March 26th, followed by a presentation by Kateřina Ptáčková from the European Commission with the EURATOM mission. PhD fellows then provided updates on their work packages.

The second day, March 27th, featured discussions on the Data Management Plan and Exploitation Plan led by Yushan Gu from VTT and Zbynek Hlavac from CVR. Miguel Azenha of the University of Minho provided concluding remarks.

Thanks to the pleasant weather, a group photo was taken in the hotel's courtyard. Work packages held separate meetings afterward.

During the meeting, a technical visit to the ITER Facility near Cadarache took place.

Project members, End Users, and students from Czechia toured the ITER Facility construction side and observed the tokamak's inner segments.

The meeting concluded with a farewell lunch at Cadarache castle.
