Yann Le Pape

Dr. Yann Le Pape is Senior Scientist a recognized international expert on concrete degradation and concrete aging structural significance on extended operation of nuclear power plants and hydroelectric concrete dams, with international experience in the industry (EDF, France and the Electric Power Research Institute in the US) and national laboratories (European Commission Joint Research Center, Italy and Oak Ridge National Laboratory). He currently leads the Concrete research activities for the Materials Research Pathway of the US DOE Light Water Reactor Sustainability (LWRS) Program. He is also currently the Chair of the International Committee on Irradiated Concrete (ICIC), DOE representative at the Technical Advisory Committee on Concrete Structures held during Electric Power Research Institute Nuclear Power Council meetings since 2013. He has co-authored 100+ peer-reviewed publications and 50+ internal reports for the nuclear industry.
